NOMAD - SOLAR LAMP - 2022

Nomad is a portable solar lamp that is charged indoors by natural light. The symmetrical shape can be understood like an hourglass. Turning the luminaire over switches between the two modes: solar charging and ambient lighting. This new routine of solar charging is supported by a subtle LED display on the bar, which visualizes the light quality in a room. As an autonomous object, Nomad collects solar energy, a freely available, sustainable resource, and makes it available on a small scale for indoor use.
